Kearney, NE – The University of Nebraska at Kearney will host a one-day clinic for area basketball coaches in the end of October.
The "Nebraska Basketball Coaches Clinic" will be held October 28th in UNK's Health & Sports Center. Registration begins at 12:00 p.m. with the clinic running from 1-5:00 p.m. Those interested in attending need to make a reservation by the October 20th deadline. Reservations are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
The event features college and high school coaches speaking of all aspects of basketball. Also included is an opportunity to watch the UNK women's basketball team practice (12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m.). Noted speakers included UNK women's basketball head coach Amy Stephens, Kearney High head coach Chris Pocock, and Nebraska men's basketball director of operations Mike Broughton.
Cost for the clinic, with a lunch included, is $ 25.00 (pre-pay). On the day of the clinic, the price will be $ 35.00. Call 308/865-8030 to register or get more information.Contact:
