Basketball to Tip Season Off with "Moonlight Madness"

Event Run Entirely by UNK Students

            Kearney, NE — The University of Nebraska at Kearney basketball teams will open their season Monday October 29^th with "Moonlight Madness", an event run entirely by UNK students.

            The evening festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and should conclude around 9:00 p.m. Admission is only one can of food, to be donated to charity organizations.

            Both teams will scrimmage for about one hour and also be involved in several shooting competitions. There will be games and prizes for the audience and an autograph session for kids.

            Classes taught by Nita Unruh and Marta Moorman are in charge of organizing and promoting the event.
