Football Adds Seven More

Four Call Colorado Home

            Kearney, NE - Nebraska-Kearney head football coach Darrell Morris today announced the addition of seven more newcomers to the 2003 recruiting class. They join the nineteen players who signed with the program back on February 5^th.

            Free safety Dustin Beerman (5-10, 180 lbs.) is the fifth Kearney High product to become a Loper, following teammates Chase Biedeck, Tony Kulhanek, Tyler McNitt and Jeff Wickham.

            Also hailing from Nebraska are Fremont-Bergan linebacker/defensive end Zach Cerise (6-1, 224 lbs.) and defensive end John Harvey (6-4, 205 lbs.) from Grand Island Northwest.

            Outside linebacker/punter Steve Juedes (6-0, 185 lbs.) and linebacker Matt Bartley (6-2, 220 lbs.) both prepped at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colo.

            Also coming from Colorado are inside linebacker / defensive end John Henes (6-2, 215 lbs.) and cornerback Russell Trujillo (5-10, 160 lbs.). Henes prepped at Rampart High in Colorado Springs while Trujillo played at Chatfield High School in Denver.
