Mins Honored Player-of-Week

            Kearney, NE – Nebraska-Kearney and Chadron State share Nebraska Division II Players of the Week honors for the second weekend of the fall season.

            Winning in football is Loper receiver Garth Mins (offensive) and Eagle linebacker Alex Tone. (defensive). In volleyball, UNK’s Erin Gudmundson takes home the honor.

            Mins, a junior from Lexington, had 12 receptions for 226 yards and two TD’s in the Lopers 32-21 win at Wayne State. He also blocked a field goal and returned two kicks for 30 yards. The 226 receving yards is the second most in school history with the 12 catches ranking fifth in Loper lore.
