Ross on All-Region Team

One of 13 RMAC Players

Kearney, Neb. –   Junior wide receiver Richie Ross has been selected to the 2004 Daktronics All-Southwest Region football team, as selected by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America).

Ross earns second team honors this year after being a first team pick as a sophomore.

The Lincoln native had 61 receptions for 898 yards and 10 TD’s this year, all team highs. In just 32 career games, Ross has 192 catches for 3,522 yards and 31 TD’s.

Of the 52 players selected to the first and second teams, only 13 were from the RMAC. Adams State and Colorado Mines each had four selections to lead the league.

Sports information directors from within the region select the Daktronics all-region teams. First-team members move onto the national ballot and can earn All-American honors.

Daktronics, with headquarters in Brookings, S.D., is an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition.
