Former Loper Assistant Hired by NFL TeamSecond Ex-Loper in the Pro Ranks
Kearney, Neb. – Former Nebraska-Kearney assistant football coach Nate Kaczor was hired today by the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars as an assistant special teams coach. Kaczor was the Lopers quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator from 2000-03. Since leaving UNK, he has worked at Division I Idaho and Louisiana-Monroe. Kaczor is the second member of Darrell Morris' original staff to be hired by an NFL team. Last year, Todd Wash was hired by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to be their defensive quality control coach. Wash was UNK's defensive coordinator in 2000 and 2001. After leaving UNK, he worked at North Dakota State and Missouri Southern State before making the jump to the NFL. | ||
