Football Has Back-to-Back T.V. GamesAway Contests at Nebraska-Omaha, Western State
Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney football team will get some major exposure the next two Saturday’s as games at Nebraska-Omaha (Sept. 6th) and Western State (Sept. 13th) will be on live television. As in previous years, the UNK-UNO game will be carried live by NET (Nebraska Education Television). This year, the game is on NET-1 with Larry Putney and Damon Benning having the call. The game can also be watched, free of charge, over the internet by going to NET’s website (http://netnebraska.org/television/). Next Saturday, the “RMAC Game of the Week” debuts with the Lopers travelling to Gunnison, Colo., to face the Mountaineers. All RMAC Games of the Week will be carried live on the Altitude-2 Network and the re-aired Sunday’s on the main Altitude Network. Time for the Sunday re-airing is to be announced. Altitude 2 can be found on DirecTV (channel # 682) and on the DISH Network (varies). For UNK-Western, the game will also be seen live in the Kearney area on channel 20 (Charter Communications). The game can also been seen live in on KSPK-TV (Walsenburg, Colo.), which is producing all RMAC Games of the Week.
