Bryson Mahlberg
Men's Track and Field
Mahlberg won the heptathlon at the Concordia Classic last Saturday in Seward by scoring 4,801 points.

The effort put his name on the national list for the first time this year.

A senior from Elwood, Mahlberg won the 60 hurdles (8.71) and shot put (38-5.50) and was runner up in three other events.
Jena Isaacson
Women's Track and Field
A senior from Holdrege, Isaacson won the pentathlon (3,423 points)at the Concordia Classic last Saturday in Seward.

Showing her versatility, she won four of the five events - long jump (17-8.75), shot put (31-7.50), 60 hurdles (9.18) and the 800 meter run (2:27.12) -- and was then seventh in the high jump (4-11.75).

Isaacson already is an NCAA provisional qualifier in the event.

Sophmore middle blocker Haley Lake became the 6th Loper to earn 1st-Team AVCA All-American honors when she was voted to the 2011 team.

Softball

Cassie Keck socked 47 home runs between 2008-11, the second most in UNK history.

Baseball

The UNK Baseball Team reached the "Sweet 16" of the 2011 NCAA Division II Tournament.
