Former Loper Playing Overseas

North Platte Native 

            Kearney, Neb. –   Former Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball player Nate Mohs has recently signed a professional contract with a team in Hungary.

            The North Platte native joined Gunaras KC Dombóvár last week, a team in the Hungarian A-Division . In his first game, Mohs scored 10 points off the bench.

            Since graduating from UNK, Mohs has been teaching in Minnesota . In his Loper career (1997-01), he was a three-time All-RMAC pick who finished with 1,444 points, currently 14th most in school history.

            He is the fourth UNK player to have played overseas recently, following Eric Strand (Grand Island), Nick Svehla (Omaha) and Nick Branting (North Platte).
