Men's Basketball Ranked 25th

Lopers Didn't Get a Single Vote Last Week

Kearney, Neb. –   The Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball team (22-5) is ranked 25th in the latest NABC/Division II  national rankings.

UNK received 20 votes and is one of five North Central Region teams to be ranked.

The others are Metro State (3rd), Nebraska-Omaha (5th) Fort Lewis (15th) and Minnesota State-Mankato (20th).

The Lopers hadn't been ranked in the poll all year and also hadn't received a single vote until this week.

UNK has fared well in the poll in the past, ranking 7th in the final poll of 2004 and 8th in the final poll of 2003.

The poll is conducted by eight members of the NABC Division II Congress, one representing each of the eight NCAA Division II regions.
