Men's Basketball Ranked 25th

Lopers Didn't Get a Single Vote Last Week

            Kearney, Neb. –   The Nebraska-Kearney men's basketball team (22-5) is ranked 25^th in the latest NABC/Division II  national rankings.

            UNK received 20 votes and is one of five North Central Region teams to be ranked.

            The others are Metro State (3rd), Nebraska-Omaha (5th) Fort Lewis (15th) and Minnesota State-Mankato (20th).

            The Lopers hadn't been ranked in the poll all year and also hadn't received a single vote until this week.

            UNK has fared well in the poll in the past, ranking 7^th in the final poll of 2004 and 8^th in the final poll of 2003.

            The poll is conducted by eight members of the NABC Division II Congress, one representing each of the eight NCAA Division II regions.
