Nelson Native Joins Men’s Basketball

JUCO Transfer

Kearney, NE – Nebraska-Kearney head men’s basketball coach Tom Kropp announced today that former Lawrence-Nelson star Corbin Biltoft will join the Lopers next season.

Biltoft, a 6-2 shooting guard, spent the last two years at North Platte C.C. and will have two years of eligibility remaining at UNK.

In 62 career games for the Knights, he averaged 8.4 points and 1.8 assists per game. This past year, Biltoft made 32 three pointers en route to averaging 12.8 points per game. He also shot 50 percent from the field and averaged nearly two steals per game.

At Lawrence-Nelson High, Biltoft starred on the Raiders football, basketball and track teams.

He is the fifth Loper recruit this year, joining center Blaine French, forwards Chad Burger and Chris Dean and guard Nick Morrell.

UNK will return two starters off of last year’s 28-5 team that made it to the North Central Regional finals.
