Nebraska-Omaha Swims Past Aqualopers; RMAC's Up Next

Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Omaha women's swimming team won 12 events to get past Nebraska-Kearney, 174-90, Saturday afternoon at the Cushing Pool.

This was the Aqualopers regular season finale; the team will compete again at the RMAC Championships Feb. 11-13 in Arvada, Colo.

In the pool, Kansas sophomore Heather Glodt was 2nd in the 50 free (26.99) as was Minnesota sophomore Abby Jones in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.07).

Also, Idaho freshman Cidnee Maggart was 3rd in both the 200 back (2:29.99) and the tough 1,000 free (11:41.25). Finally, Lincoln freshman Brianna Nelsen won the 400 I.M. (5:14.22).

UNK did got 1-2 in diving as Kansas sophomore Jourdan McKevery scored 356.35 points on the 3 meter board and 205.50 at 1 meters. McCook High grad Kim Ellicott was runner on both boards.
