Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney football team will play five home games during the 2010 season and also have a bye week.
The complete schedule can be found
HERE. All times listed are
Central.
UNK's first two games, against Wayne State and Nebraska-Omaha, will kick off at 6:00 p.m.
Due to scheduling conflicts, the UNK/UNO series will end for the foreseeable future after this year's game. The Lopers beat the Mavericks, 31-28, last year in Kearney with UNO now leading the all-time series, 28-9. The two schools have played every year since 1982.
On September 11th, the Lopers will have a rare bye week. The team will then play nine straight RMAC games with October 2nd (vs. Adams State) being Homecoming.
UNK went 11-2 in 2009, beating Saginaw Valley State (Mich.) in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs. The Lopers finished the year ranked eighth nationally.
