Mission Statement
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) promotes and maintains student-athletes good sportsmanship, academic excellence, and involvement in the campus and local community. SAAC members represent all intercollegiate student-athletes in each of the athletic programs at UNK. SAAC has a goal to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity for all student-athletes.
Purpose and Objectives
- To generate a student-athlete voice within the department and the institution.
- To discuss issues and develop recommendations to enhance student-athlete well-being on campus.
- To solicit student-athlete response to proposed NCAA legislation or RMAC legislation.
- To organize service efforts to promote a positive image in the community.
