LaShell Picks Up Win at UNO

Lopers Lose To Mavericks

            Kearney, NE – North Platte junior Lindsey LaShell moved to 3-0 on the year in singles play but it wasn't enough as the Nebraska-Kearney women's tennis team fell at Nebraska-Omaha, 8-1, Saturday morning in Omaha.

            UNK is 2-2 on the year while UNO improves to 7-2.

            At No. 5 singles, LaShell lost the first set to Lindsey Loveland, 6-1, but came back to win the next two sets in convincing fashion. Coming into the year, LaShell had a career singles mark of 7-19 (No. 4-6 singles).
