$50.00 per team, boys and girls are considered separate. (NOTICE ENTRY PRICE)
Three (3) entries per school in all track running events
Three (3) entries per school in Shot Put, High Jump, Pole Vault, Two (2) entries in Long and Triple Jumps. Long Jump and Triple Jump will take four (4) attempts only!!!
One (1) relay team per school in each relay event
N.S.A.A. regulations govern the number of events an athlete can enter.
Please use the entry form included in this packet for your entries.
AWARDS
We will score six places
Medals to the top three (3) places in each individual event, and top three (3) for relay teams.
A team championship trophy will be given to the winner.
INSTRUCTIONS
3/16" PYRAMID spikes (only) are allowed on the floor of the field house. Please check your athletes.
The track is a 160m Martin surface.
Starting blocks will be furnished by UNK. (No blocks for the 400)
The shot platform is wood, and only soft-soled shoes may be worn.
There are limited dressing and showering facilities due to the size of the meet. Schools nearby are asked to dress at home.
The warm up area is limited in the field house; you may use the hallways or go outside.
NO FOOD OR DRINK IS ALLOWED IN THE FIELD HOUSE.
Entries are due no later than Monday, March 17, 2003. Teams competing on Thursday please fax your scratches and adds to us on Wednesday by 6:00 pm. Teams competing on Friday, please fax scratches and adds on Thursday by 6:00pm. Teams competing on Saturday should fax scratches and adds by Friday at 6:00 pm. YOU MAY ONLY MAKE SCRATCHES ON THE DAY OF THE MEET. NO ADDS.
Please email entries to Rich Brodersen at brodersenrj@unk.edu and then mail a hard copy of entry form along with entry fee payable to UNK Athletics. Then mail to UNK High School Track and Field; % Rich Brodersen; Health and Sports Center 118; Kearney, NE 68849.
Heat sheets will be available on the website at www.lopers.com. There also will be heat sheets at the head table.
Space is limited for teams to set up camp. We’ll have to utilize the hall way or field house. Bleachers are for spectators only!!! Thank You!!
