IMPORTANT PARKING INFO
Team
Parking: All parking rules and fees are administered
by the University Parking Department. Team bus & van parking will
be located next to Foster Field in Lot 12.
Fan
Parking: All parking rules and fees are administered
by the University Parking Department. Fan parking will be located
next to Cushing Fieldhouse in Lots 9, 11 and 14.

Accessibility:
Accessible parking is available to the east and west of the Health &
Sports Center in Lots 10 and 14a. Accessible door access is on the
east and west sides of the Health & Sports Center building. For
further assistance please call (308) 865-8069.
ADMISSION
Coach / Athlete Admission:
Athletes, Coaches, trainers and support staff will be admitted free
through the pass gate. Coaches...this is on an honor system.
Please don't take advantage of this privilege.
Public Admission:
Admission into the meet will be allowed only to those people paying at
the gate. Admission will be taken directly at the gate.
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students K-12. Please
pass this information to your fans, especially your athlete’s parents.
Every year we have problems
with fans not prepared to pay for admission to the meet.
Concessions / Merchandise
A Concession stand will be provided
in the Health & Sports Center. Food and Drink are allowed only in
the wooden bleachers. UNK High School Track and Field Invitational
t-shirts will he on sale in the control center next to the south
entrance. The t-shirts will be $12.00 each.
Coach / Athlete Access on Track & Infield
In a continued effort to create the
safest possible environment during the UNK High School Track and Field
Invitational, athletes (not competing in current race or field events)
and coaches are allowed in the infield area.

The entry worksheet is
for your convenience only. All entries must be submitted through
the appropriate link on our website. Entries will no longer be
accepted in writing. Use the links provided on the top of the page
for entries.
TEAM PACKETS
Packets can be picked up at the
head table located right inside the south doors to Cushing
Fieldhouse. Packets will be available one and half hours before
competition begins. Only a team coach may pick up and sign for
the packet.
TEAM ENTRY FEE
Thanks to our on-line entry
system, teams will only pay for athletes who gain entry to the meet.
Team entry fees must be paid before or at the time of packet pick
up. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
There is a team cap of $60 per team. Boys and girls squads
count as separate teams.

ENTRY LIMITS

Three (3) entries per school in
all track events.

Three (3) entries per school in
Shot Put, High Jump, Pole Vault.
-
Two (2) entries per school in
Long and Triple Jumps.
-
One (1) relay team per school in
each relay event.
-
NSAA regulations govern the
number of events at athlete can enter.
TEAM CAMP / WARM UP AREA
There are limited dressing facilities
due to the size of the meet. Schools nearby are asked to dress at
home. Space is limited for teams to set up camp. We'll
utilize the hallways.
The bleachers are for paying customers only!!
UNK is not responsible for any
lost items. The warm up area is limited in the field house; you
may use the hallways or go outside.
AWARDS /
SCORING / RESULTS
We will score six (6) places.
Team trophy to the winner of each class in both genders. The top
three (3) individuals in each race and field event and top three (3)
relays will receive medals. We’ll hand out the medals and announce
the team winners following the meet at the head table.
Results will be posted outside
the south entrance on the weight room windows. Results will
be available at the head table when available. Full results will
be available at
www.lopers.com.
IMPORTANT DATES
Please read the
information booklet carefully, for there have been several changes in
entry and declaration procedures from past years. Here are
the important dates to put on your calendar for 2008 as the event draws
near. Remember that due to the size and complexity of the
meet, no exceptions can be made for late or incorrect entries or
declarations.
