Five Men, Three Women to Boston
Kearney, NE – The University of Nebraska at Kearney indoor track team will be well represented at the NCAA Division II Championships, held in Boston March 8-9.
On the men's side, five will be going, none of whom are seniors. They include juniors Brian Meade (Papillion, Neb.) and Nate Wheat (Lakin, Kan.), sophomores Casey Marsh (Hastings) and Kurt Nielsen (Grand Island) and freshman Allen Burrell (Aurora, Colo.). All five will be making their first appearance in the indoor championships.
Senior Leah Lewis (Kearney) and junior Jessica Reinsch (Geneva) are veterans of the NCAA Championships and have made the field once again. Scottsbluff junior Megan Holmes is making her first trip.
Below is where the Lopers rank heading into the meet. The top eight finishers in each event earn All-American honors.
