Three More Sign On with TrackYoung Loper Women's Team Adds More Talent
Kearney, Neb. – Nebraska-Kearney head track and field coach Andy Meyer announced today the names of three high school seniorss -- all girls -- who will compete for the Lopers next year. The trio includes Brooke Harris (Wallace H.S.), Amy Long (Bayard H.S.) and Erica Pirog (Chase County H.S.). Earlier this spring, UNK announced the names nine high school seniors (six women, three men) who will compete for the Lopres next season. For Wallace High School, Harris earned a Class D state medal at 800 meters last spring. Long is a two-time Class D state champion in cross country who also won the Class C state title at 3,200 meters. Finally, Pirog was a Class B medalist at 400 meter and in the 300 hurdles last spring. |
