2000-01 (Jr.): Burdorf spent most of the season in the starting lineup and then returned to her role as the team’s top player off the bench at the end of the year. She averaged 27 minutes a game and ranked second on the team in threes made, threes attempted, and free throw percentage. She also was third in assists. Burdorf had career-best numbers in nearly every category, including threes made (36) and three-point percentage (43.4). She led the team in scoring against Chadron State (15) and was in double figures in 20 games. Her season-high of 19 came in the season-opener where she was seven of 10 from the floor. She earned Academic All-RMAC honors for the second straight year.
1999-00 (So.): Despite not starting once, Burdorf was one of the Lopers top offensive players. She ranked fourth in scoring, averaging over 10 points a night. Also fourth in minutes per game (24.9), Burdorf teamed with Beth Swift and Jodi Ward to form a lethal perimeter attack. She was second to Swift in threes made and third in three point percentage. An accurate shooter from anywhere, Burdorf led the RMAC in free throw percentage (84.2). Burdorf had a monster game Dec. 29th as UNK upset No. 5 Emporia State. She had career-highs in points (24), rebounds (seven), and threes made (three). Burdorf led the Lopers in scoring five other times, including a 16-point effort in the RMAC Tournament opener against CCU. In the NCAA’s, she tallied 15 points on 5 of 5 shooting.
1998-99 (Fr.): Burdorf led all UNK freshmen in games played (23). Averaging seven minutes per game, Burdorf was an accurate shooter, making half of her field goal attempts. She also made four treys, including one in RMAC play. She played 15 minutes in the RMAC Tournament finals, scoring seven points and grabbing four rebounds. Her season-high of nine points also came in a first round win over Colorado Christian.
High School: Burdorf earned Iowa Newspaper Association first-team all-state and Iowa Coaches Association second-team all-state honors following her senior season. She averaged 17.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 4.5 steals per game and shot 40 percent from the three-point line and 83 percent from the charity stripe. During her career at Emmetsburg, her teams compiled a 72-13 record. Also an excellent softball and volleyball player, Burdorf was first-team all-state in softball and sixth-team all-state in volleyball.
