2000-01 (Jr.): Marks averaged 12 minutes a contest as backup point guard. Playing in 28 games, she nearly had a 2-to-1 assist to turnover ratio. She also had five games with at least two steals, including three thefts against the College of St. Mary and at UCCS. Offensively, her season-high of eight points came vs. Nebraska Wesleyan. She was four of five from the field in 16 minutes of work. Marks also made the Academic All-RMAC team for the first time.
1999-00 (So.): Marks played in all but one game and averaged 11 minutes per contest. A backup to Jodi Dubs at point guard, Marks played in the post on occasion due to the Lopers lack of height. Against Moorhead State in the UNK Thanksgiving Tournament, she played a season-high 22 minutes, scoring five points, handing out three assists, grabbing two rebounds and having two steals. Later, Marks scored seven points and had three rebounds in a win over UCCS.
1998-99 (Fr.): In her first season, Marks saw action in 13 games, averaging 1.3 points per appearance. In a January 3rd win over New Mexico Highlands, Marks scored three points; the next night, she had four points, two steals, two assists and five rebounds in a victory over Adams State.
High School: Marks was named Class "1A" first-team All-State by the Minnesota State Girls Basketball Coaches Association. A four-time Red Rock All-Conference selection, Marks led the conference in scoring (19.8 ppg), rebounds (9.4 rpg), and steals (4.9 spg), while finishing third in assists (4.8 apg). Named team MVP, Marks finished her senior season with 399 points (19.0 pg) and 201 rebounds (9.6 pg). She set eight school records during her career, including career points (1,337), rebounds (687), steals (312), and assists (434). Marks was also an excellent volleyball player and track athlete.
