Kruger on Two All-Region TeamsLoper Junior Picks up the Hardware Kearney, NE - Nebraska-Kearney junior forward Allison Kruger, the 2003 RMAC Player of the Year, recently earned all-region honors by two outlets. First, Kruger was named Daktronics second-team All-North Central Region, as chosen by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America). Of the 10 players chosen, Kruger was one of two from the RMAC to make the squad. Next, Kruger was selected to the WBCA (Women's Basketball Coaches Association)/Kodak All-Region 7 team. A total of five players are picked to this team by the region's head coaches. Despite a foot ailment that severely limited her play at the end of the year, and forced her to miss four games, Kruger still led the 25-6 Lopers in scoring average (15.1) and field goal percentage (56.4) while ranking second in rebounding average (7.6), steals (64) and blocks (22). She has amassed 1,281 points and 576 rebounds in her three-year UNK career. Both teams are below.
