Women's Golf in Fourth Place at Regis

Hehn Tied for 5th

      Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney women's golf team shot a 339 and sits in fourth place after the first day of the second RMAC Fall Invite in Lakewood, Colo.

      The 36-hole tournament, hosted by Regis, is being played at the par 72 Fox Hollow Golf Course.

      Nationally-ranked Western New Mexico, who won the first RMAC Invite last week at Meadowlark Hills, leads the 10-team field with a 316.

      Fort Hays State (329) is second and then Chadron State (338). Only 11 strokes separates UNK from seventh place Montana State-Billings.

      South Dakota senior Kami Hehn is tied for fifth place after a six over par 78 (38-40). Shelby White of Hays (75) leads the field by one shot.

      Also for the Lopers, Kearney freshman Jami Melson is tied for 14^th (83), Kearney junior Megan Marshall is tied for 19^th (85), Central City senior Stacy Hartwig is tied for 36th (93) and Crofton senior Katei Zavadil is tied for 44^th (102).
