Mat Jam Coming Up

UNK Wrestling Event

            Kearney, NE – The Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team will hold a Mat Jam on January 25th (Sunday) in the Health & Sports Center.

            For grades K-8, the event is an all day affair with weigh-ins running from 7:00-9:00 a.m. and wrestling starting at 10:30 a.m. There will be five age classes; pre-k, 1^st-2^nd grades, 3^rd-4^th grades, 5^th-6^th grades and 7^th-8^th grades.

            Cost is $ 12.00 per wrestler if received by January 22^nd. The cost will go up to $ 14.00 if received after January 22^nd or if the wrestler signs up the day of the tournament.

            Admission to the tournament will be $ 3.00 (adults) and $ 1.00 (students). Kids six and under will be free. All proceeds go to benefit the Loper wrestling program.
