Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney cross country teams each were selected to the USTFCCCA (U.S. Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association) 2009 National All-Academic Team.
To make this list, a team must have competed and compiled score at an NCAA Regional meet and also have a minimum 3.00 GPA.
The Loper women's 3.64 GPA is tied for 6th nationally; Truman State led the way at a 3.78 with Seattle Pacific second (3.27).
On the men's side, UNK came in at a 3.27. Northern State and Edinboro of Pennsylvania shared top honors at a 3.54.
