Cassie Keck,
Alissa Larsen and
Jessie Thomas have been named to the 2010 All-RMAC team.
The team was released today and voted upon by the league's head coaches.
Thomas (Yutan), a junior designated player, earned first-team honors while Keck (Blair), a junior third baseman, was named to the second team. Finally, one of four seniors on this year's UNK team, Larsen (Lincoln Northeast) was selected as a third-team outfielder.
Entering the RMAC Tournament, Thomas leads the team in batting average (.357) and hits (45) while ranking second in homers (eight) and RBI's (22). This is her second All-RMAC honor as she was named honorable mention -- as a pitcher -- in 2008.
Making the all-league team for the third time is Keck, who leads the Lopers with 13 homers. In her career, Keck has 30 homers, third most in school history.
She also is batting .333 with a team-best 11 doubles, a team-best 96 total bases and a team-high .727 slugging percentage.
Larsen, UNK's lead off hitter, earns her second All-RMAC honor. Among the league leaders in stolen bases with 24, she is batting .286 withe two triples and eight RBI's. She also has four assists from her center field.
