Kearney, Neb. - The Nebraska-Kearney women's swimming team tallied 312 points to place seventh out of 10 schools at the 2012 Grinnell College Invite in Iowa.

Sophomore
Cassie Bonds (Wichita, Kans.) scored 39.5 points on Saturday as she was third in the 50 free (25.28) and fourth in the 100 fly (1:02.28). Her third place showing was the best by an Aqualoper over the two days.
On Friday, Bonds was one of two UNK swimmers to score in the 100 free, coming in 12th place (56.47).
Oklahoma freshman
Shelby Laramore also racked up some big team points when she came in fourth in the 1,650 free (18:46.23) and eighth in the 500 free (5:28.58).
Finally, freshman
Michelle Reutter (Worland, Wyo.) was ninth in the 400 IM (5:08.94) for UNK's other top 10 finish.
UNK hosts UNO next Saturday.
