Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney men's golf team shot a 36-hole total of 585 to win the Hastings College Fall Invitational Monday in Hastings and Grand Island.

UNK, led my medalist
Lance Lawson (Norfolk), had rounds of 290 and 295 to edge out Bethany College of Kansas (588) for the team trophy. The Lopers “B” team was third (593) with Dakota Wesleyan (603) and Southeast C.C. (611) rounding out the top five.
A transfer from Iowa Western, Lawson fired a two under par 142 (72-70) to come in ahead Loper freshman
Tyler Dowling (Kearney Catholic) and Bethany's Ben Johnson by a single stroke.
Dowling, leading the Lopers second team, shot a 73 and 70 to reach his total.

Jordan Arensdorf (T-7th/147), Wood River senior
Kris Koelzer and Lincoln freshman
