Kearney, Neb. - The Kearney Jaycees are proud to pick up the torch to continue a favorite community event, the "Soup or Chili Bowl" cook-off. 
 
The Jaycees and Runza present the 2014 cook-off at the Health and Sports Center this Wednesday, February 26th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. as the Lopers face Northeastern State.

All proceeds from the event go to the Jaycees Scholarship Fund for Buffalo County high school seniors applying to UNK.
 
Tickets to come and taste as many of the soup and/or chili options are: adults $ 5.00 in advance or $ 7.00 at the door and $ 2.00 for children.  When you purchase a taster ticket, you also get FREE admission into the UNK women's and men's basketball games.
