Lopers of the Week
Ellie Pesavento
Women's Volleyball
A freshman middle blocker from Omaha Marian, Pesavento had a stellar opening weekend as the 13th-ranked Lopers posted a 3-1 mark at the Tampa Classic in Florida.

Over four matches, she hit a tourney best .435 while averaging 2.87 kills and .60 blocks per set.

In her collegiate debut vs. No. 5 Central Missouri, Pesavento had 12 kills and no errors in 18 swings (.667 attack pct.). Later on Friday, she had 17 kills and five blocks as UNK fell in five sets to No. 3 Tampa.
Rustin Dring
Football
Dring had a busy night as the Loper football team rallied past nationally-ranked Nebraska-Omaha, 32-29, on Saturday.

Rushing for 118 yards and one TD, Dring also caught seven balls for 114 yards and two TD's. Both receiving scores came in the 4th quarter as the Lopers came back from holes of 10-0 and 23-10.

The receiving total is the most by a Loper RB in the Darrell Morris era (2000-present) with Dring also having three kick returns for 38 yards.
