Amy Long
Women's Track and Field
Long broke a 17-year old record at 3,000 meters by running a 10:16.55 Saturday in Lincoln.
That bested the old record set in 1993 by Steph Homan (10:19.12).

Also in the event, Long finished 7th out of 18 runners, beating seven Divsion I runners in the process.
Jessie Golden
Women's Track and Field
Golden ran an 8.37 in the 55 hurdles this past Saturday at the Scott Nisely Memorial Classic in Crete.

Finishing runner up, Golden's time converts to an 8.94 (60 hurdles) and that puts her 15th on the national list.

Also at Doane, Golden just missed out on making the 55 meter dash finals; she ran a 7.66 in prelims with the last finals spot coming in at 7.64.
