Lopers of the Week
Jena Isaacson
Women's Track and Field
Isaacson provisionally qualified in the tough pentathlon last Thursday in Chadron by scoring 3,112 points.

Also a member of the Loper volleyball team, Isaacson won the 55 hurdles (8.67), long jump (18-0.50) and 800 meters (2:29.07).

On Friday, Isaacson set a new meet record (17-11) to win the long jump.

Women's Track and Field
Long broke a 17-year old record at 3,000 meters by running a 10:16.55 Saturday in Lincoln.
That bested the old record set in 1993 by Steph Homan (10:19.12).

Also in the event, Long finished 7th out of 18 runners, beating seven Divsion I runners in the process.

Lady Lopers point guard, Debi Johnson, set a new UNK school record for most 3-point field goals made in a single game with nine (9) against the Mavericks of Mesa State.
HISTORY OF AFFILIATION

Former UNK wrestler and two-time NCAA Champion, Tervel Dlagnev, was a Bronze medalist at the 2009 World Championships in Denmark.

Men's Basketball
Loper Co-Head Coach Tom Kropp was drafted by the Washington Bullets of the NBA, the Denver Rockets of the ABA, and the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NFL.  He went on to play for the Washington Bullets and the Chicago Bulls.
Women's Basketball
Loper Head Women's Basketball Coach Carol Russel shares the UNL record for highest field goal percentage in a game when she made all 10 shots she took in a 1991 home win over Oklahoma.
All Sports Competition Cup
UNK Athletics has received the All Sports Competition Cup 12 out of the past 14 years. This award signifies overall success put forth by UNK within RMAC competition.
