Kearney, Neb. - Three starting members of the 8th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney football team have been voted to the 2009 ESPN the Magazine/CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) College Division Academic All-District 7 team.

The players are senior safety Pat Ackerman (Holdrege), junior left guard Stephen Goodin (Hastings) and sophomore running back Rustin Dring (Kearney).

Ackerman and Dring are on the 1st-team and will move on to the national ballot where they could earn Academic All-American honors; Goodin was a 2nd-team selection.

The College Division includes NCAA Division II & III schools, as well as the NAIA; District 7 encompasses schools in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming and the Dakotas.
