Kearney, Neb. - Nebraska-Kearney head football coach
Darrell Morris today announced the names of 11 high school seniors who will join the Lopers this fall.
The group includes six Nebraskans, two Colorado natives and one player each from Arizona, Michigan and Wyoming. By position, this group has five offensive linemen, two linebackers, two defensive backs, a defensive end and a wide receiver.
The Nebraska natives are linebackers Riley Bonifas (Blue Hill H.S.) and Thomas Keck (Bennington H.S.), receiver Jake Rohde (Sumner-Eddyville-Miller H.S.), defensive back Louis Kaelin (Grand Island Senior H.S.), defensive end Ryan Bristol (Amherst H.S.) and linemen Jake Meyer (Adams Central H.S.).
Coming from out of state are linemen Frank Anderson (Littleton, Colo.), Levi Brennemann (Brush, Colo.), Colby Douglas (Cheyenne, Wyo.) and Derrick Horn (Muskegon Heights, Mich.), and defensive back Daniel Rankin (Greenway, Ariz.).

In February, UNK brought aboard 29 high school seniors and five transfers. The transfers worked out with the team this spring.
The Lopers report to fall camp August 7th with the first game of the 2010 season being August 28th at home vs. Wayne State.
