Kearney, NE  - The University of Nebraska Kearney Athletic Department announced today that registration for Team and Individual entries for the Blue Gold Golf Outing for Athletic Scholarships are being accepted.

This year's six person scramble will take place on Monday, June 3rd.  After a successful addition of a third course in Awarii Dunes, the tournament will follow the same three course format.   Course reservations will be made on a first come, first serve basis with limited availability at each course.

The scramble will tee off at 10:00 AM at all three courses with the “19th Hole” event directly following at Kearney's Holiday Inn.  The wrap up event will feature team awards,  a sit-down meal and a prize drawing/golf trip auction items  for participants raffle.
 
Registration forms for past Blue/Gold participants are scheduled to be mailed Monday, April 15th.

Cost to participate is $225 per golfer.  Signature and corporate sponsorships are also available by contacting Shawn Fairbanks at (308)865-8184 or fairbankssm@unk.edu.  Individuals who wish to be placed on a team may also register as such.
